Why does the Sunday service begin at 4 p.m.?
Our service time is in the late afternoon to not interfere with Southwood’s morning services as well as the nap schedule of some of our member’s younger children.
Is childcare provided?
Yes, there is a safe nursery available for infants and toddlers. Additionally, all MC adult childcare providers (currently we have a rotation of four) have had background checks and enjoy working with our kids.
What is the format of your service?
Our service time is approximately 4-5:30. The first half hour is informal with time to get coffee and refreshments, make introductions, talk, and catch up, as well as get kids settled. We then have our formal service time from 4:30-5:30. This hour includes music, Scripture readings, prayer, and a teaching time that often includes group discussion.
